The only vegan recipe in our lineup. Mushrooms are sautéed to bring out their meaty depth. Vine-ripened tomatoes go in next and are cooked down quickly, fast enough to keep their bright, fresh tanginess intact. Onions caramelized in extra virgin olive oil are stirred through, along with carrot and garlic purees to round out the sauce with a natural touch of sweetness. Basil, cracked black pepper, and redd pepper finish it for depth. At home, just add water and microwave. Five minutes later, dinner tastes like it came straight off the stovetop.
